Spoke with EVGO and they currently have no plan for mobile only charging and currently do not permit “pay at the pump” charging. They did mention they might start permitting “pay at the pump” sometime in 2012.

Anyone know if you can use EVGO stations without signing up for a monthly plan?

Currently, eVgo does not offer any guest/visitor or per-visit charging, only the monthly plans. They mentioned that there could be updates to their offerings in the future. If I hear about them, I’ll add that information.

You can charge at any Nissan Dealer for free. Some Half Price Book stores have free charging – I think only for the first year? A few Walgreens stores have them, but I have not been there so I do not know how it works.

      BTW
AAA is adding trucks equipped to repair/charge electric cars on the road.

I figure by the end of my lease (when I get the next generation electric car) that the infrastructure will be just as good for diesel/gas engine vehicles.
