Parking & Charge Costs and hours available:
[edit]

Cost to Park: Free, but Starting March 1, 2013, must pay parking rate

Other Notes: [edit]
Update 8/11/12. New california law requires that if you're in an EV-only spot you must be plugged in or you'll get a ticket. You can still park for free at LAX for now, but if you don't need a charge, just park any place. You do not have to be in an EV spot and if you're not plugged in you'll get a ticket. There are many older SPI units here and if you have a new EV you can't use it anyway, so don't park there.

There are often no charging spaces available. Valet parking at “The Parking Spot Sepulveda” or “Wally Park are backups

Lot 6 has several units replaced with Clipper Creek J1772 EVSEs. I lost count on how many we’re replaced…

Upgrades to LAX EV Parking are taking place. They have sent notice that the EV Charging will not be available from now till April 28th, 2012. Call before planning on getting a charge there.

    7 Leafs, a Tesla, and 5 RAV4s.

Leaf drivers you dont need to park at a plug to park for free. Save for people who can use them.

There were 2 Leafs blocking SPI spaces. We need to get J chargers or at least 120 volt outlets here for the new fleet of EVs.

Free Parking for all 100% electric vehicles up to 30 days. They credit your parking stub for the full amount. Did not see 1772 plug.
