The station is across from the motel lobby, with angle parking aimed for outgoing traffic - enter through the covered loading area at the front door and do a U-turn into the charging stall. Though the address is Oakland, it's really at the Rice Hill exit (148). Going south, the Leaf nav system will try to take you to the next exit and double back, but 148 will work - there's a loop through a freeway underpass to get over to the businesses on the east side. AV stations require AV Subscriber Network fob, but you can call the 800 number on the station and they can activate it remotely. The Fast Charge stations light up the top, and while charging, these lights form a gauge that shows the state of charge, with full circle at 80% (though they'll keep charging past that per the car). Sometimes the connector can be a bit sticky to pull out of the station - a firm, but gentle tug should get it though. Be careful *not* to pull on the power cord where it attaches to the station itself - that has already disabled one of the new stations when it came loose. The cord is short - pull up close.
